Whether it be a refugee desperately fleeing war and/or famine; a lonely senior citizen struggling with mobility; or a year 5 class waiting to receive their 1st aid training, the Red Cross understand that because every crisis is personal - it requires a personal approach. The largest volunteer led humanitarian organisation on the planet, the Red Cross's reach is truly global meaning they are able to respond to any crisis immediately - wherever it may be, whenever it may be. To do this, the British Red Cross need funding - that's where you come in! As a Red Cross fundraiser, you will be responsible for engaging members of the public on their doorsteps in various residential areas in your region and inspiring them to support the Red Cross's work by securing long-term regular donations by Direct Debit. Working in different locations in your area, you will join a team of exceptional fundraisers, take to the doors and inspire! This is more than just a job - fundraising is a lifestyle choice that truly let's you be "the change you want to see in the world". HOURS – 1.30pm – 8pm Full Time: Monday to Friday Part Time: Choose 3 or 4 days PAY & PROGRESSION – £9 - £12 p.hr PLUS weekly & monthly rewards EXPERIENCE WELCOME BUT NOT ESSENTIAL FULL TRAINING PROVIDED The successful candidates will love the outdoors, but they'll love people even more. Whilst past experience in either face-to-face fundraising or sales is preferable, it's definitely not essential as full training and mentoring will be provided.
